Day 2...Part 1..The Wet Day

After settling in on Sunday evening and going out for dinner at Tony Roma's "Famous for Ribs" (BTW I ate a salad and soup but tasted T's ribs..they were good) we headed back to the room to sleep.

Monday morning we were out of the room by 10:00 am. We decided to hit the Horse Shoe Falls, Journey behind the falls and Maid of the Mist this day.

The only way to get to the falls from the main road with all of the Hotels is to either walk several blocks (not bad getting to the falls but all up hill coming back) or take the "Incline Railway". This was a part of the all day "People Mover" pass we had already purchased so onto the railway we headed...

Directly off of the incline railway is the horse shoe falls. **Beware** You may get wet just looking!!

After having our first up close view of the falls we headed to "The Journey Behind the Falls"...it did not really take us "behind" them though...it was more like "along side" the falls. But it was again, another wet spot. Good thing we brought our rain jackets with us.

We made our way along the main road (or if you are a South Park fan..The "only road" in Canada) to the Maid of the Mist, but stopped along the way for some more beautiful views of the falls.
