I interviewed K in mid January (using bribery if a loli if she participated) with what was supposed to be 20 questions. I think we wound up with around 14, but they are still cute.

Friday Night Leftovers...the Saturday morning wormy edition
Sorry for my tardiness. You see I downloaded a new app on my phone, Blogger for Iphone, and I typed up almost an entire post and saved it. When I returned, to complete it was gone. Needless to say I don't care much for the new app.
Please swing over to see Danifred. She has less than 2 weeks before her baby boy Blue will be born! Not to be mistaken for Beyonce and Jay-Z's baby girl Blue. In all fairness, Danifred had the name first.
- What a week this has been. Fo realz yo.
- On Wednesday night I had an appointment to get my new car starter installed. T and I managed to work it into a date night, planned a nice dinner and movie while K slept at her GiGi's. My appt was for 4:30. At 3;45 T calls me to tell me he has to take the cat into the Emergency Vet. He (the Cat) is vomiting, shitting and pissing all over the house. AND T found what he believes to be a 4-5 inch long worm in the puke. AWESOME
- After a quick visit to the Vet it is confirmed that our cat does in fact have a major case of round worm. Can you say Eww? He is given a de-wormer and sent home where he should begin to get better in 24-48 hrs.
- Finally at 5:30 T meets me at the garage and we head out for dinner, having missed the movie start time we just did dinner and then killed time walking around Home Depot.
- Also around Wednesday I began to feel icky...runny nose, sore throat, coughing. K had already been drippy for a few days. Woke up Thursday worse and Friday even worse.
- By Friday K ws also hacking and sneezing.
- The worst part about being pregnant and sick isn't even the fact that I can't take meds, it's the increased number of times I pee my pants daily between the coughing and sneezing.
- I took Friday off and K and I visited a couple of preschools. How is she ready for school already?
- The first one we visited under impressed me so much that we left after a 35 minute visit. This brought us to our 2nd appt approx 30 mins early (SURPRISE) and we stayed there for almost 2 hrs. When we left K said "Mommy that place was Super Awesome!". Clearly the front runner at this time, of course it is also the most expensive one.
- K turns 3 in less than a month. I really need to figure out her Birthday stuff. All she says is she wants a Plex cake with cupcakes. I have invites filled out but need to get them out in the mail, and need to order some Yo Gabba Gabba supplies I guess. I hope I can make as good of a Plex cake as I did a Foofa cake last year.
- The Baby Boy in my belly is making his presence known more and more each day. I believe he may have flipped as I am feeling kicks/movement much higher now and because my crotch is seriously starting to hurt.
- I find that he either really loves or really hates when I sing to his sister at bed time.
- We haven't discussed a name since we found out he is a he. And I have eliminated every name on my list. I just don't like any of them any more. Please feel free to suggest boy names that do not begin with R or K, and do not end in ...an. I am shooting for his little name to be Alan (after my deceased Father in law) so it has to flow nicely.
- K has already named her brother Jack. After Jack Black on the new friends episode of Yo Gabba Gabba. If we don't get something selected by the time he arrives that just may be his name!
- I made a Birthday interview with K this morning. It will be published in a couple weeks in advance of her Birthday.
- Why is it every time I go do a major grocery shop I end up ordering take out?
- Almost into double digit countdown until maternity leave! 102 days left!!!!
- I have yet to bring myself to even begin thinking about this kids room. Our guest room is so small. Poor kid is going to be stuck with a tiny room his whole life and his sister will rub it in his face that she has a big room.
- I would kill for a sick day.
- Oh yes, I forgot to mention that now T is sick too. So now everyone (human and feline) is sick in this house yet it is Mommy (you know the one that has been sick longest) who still has to get up with everyone, make food, do laundry, etc....need I go on.
- It is cold. I hope this cold snap kills some germs already.

Cawfee Tawk
Rebecca has hosted Cawfee Tawk several time and I usually answer in her comments, bit in an effort to be a bit more active over here (and because commenting from my phone has become a bitch) I decided to co-host!
These are questions I (Rebecca really) would ask if we were sitting down for a cup o'joe this morning.
1 - Have you done anything recently that you're ashamed of?
2 - Is there a friend you haven't seen in a while that you'd like to reconnect with?
3 - What did your husband/significant other do this week that was really awesome?
4 - What are you plans for today?
5 - What is your least favorite toy brought to your home during the holidays?
6 - What TV show is a "never miss" for you?
7 - Do you use your cell phone just for "phoning?" Or for other things as well?
My answers:
1 - Searching my brain and i just can't think of a thing! I guess I need to go out and do something naughty soon..
2 - There is one friend, my best friend of many years. I have made a few efforts to reconnect, but she never really returned the efforts so I decided we were intended to be friends a lifetime ago, not now.
3 - Hmmmm....nothing stellar that's for sure :) but he did spend the day with us at the museum on Monday, and anyone that has taken an almost 3yr old to a natural science museum knows that is no easy task.
4 - too much to do! Have to go to a work get together for one of my Indian co-workers. His parents are he visiting and he just had a baby girl, so K and I along with a few others are heading over there for a while. On the way I need to stop and grab a gift for the baby. Then just normal Sunday.preparefortheweek.BS.
5 - I would have to say it is the My Little Pony hot air balloon. it is SO loud. Sad thing is, I am fairly certainI bought it!
6 - Now that I have a DVR they are all "never misses", but for me it is mostly Showtime shows. I love my Dexter, Homeland, and then this season on FX there was An American Horror Story. I don't watch much TV. By the time I sit down at night it is so late I barely catch the 11 news.
7 - Since getting the iPhone back in June, my phone has become my primary form of communication. I use it for my email, facebook, blogging, almost all internet usage needs. The only thing I don't use it for is paying bills! I do occasionally use it as a phone too :)

Cute baby Saturday....
Someone wasn't sleepy, really she wasn't!
She slept the whole drive to town, a stop at the seamstress, a gas fill up, loading of the cart with returnables, being moved from the car seat into the cart, returning all the empties, AND a 2 hr shopping trip....but she wasn't tired...
For several weeks she has been asking to get her cut.....Before
3 inches later!
Loving the curls!!!

Friday Night Leftovers....so thankful it's Friday edition
What a week from Hell this has been....Ugh. I was so glad to wake up today and know it was Friday.
- Work has sucked, major balls, all week. I have been on 12-14 hour conference calls daily for an issue we were having with one of our computer systems.
- We still haven't figured out how to fix it, since we really don't know what the issue is being caused by.
- T has had a dead battery in his truck twice this week. The first time was at home so he was able to charge it with our battery charger, the second time was tonight. Luckily I paid our AAA dues this year.
- I hadn't been grocery shopping in almost 4 weeks (I did a pea pod about 2 weeks ago, but not a huge one). I spent a good hour today walking around with cabinets opened, writing a thorough list. Loaded my car up with the empty cans and bottles and drove the 15 miles into town, only to discover I forgot my list.
- Rather than make it a wasteful trip I made a stop at Starbucks and got a cup of Joe.
- While there I ran into my therapist from when I was a teenager. He also treated T a few years later, and then we went to him as a couple a few years after that. It was pretty awesome running into him. I am proud of the person I turned out to be. I am proud that after 17 years T and I are still together. I am proud that I am a damn good mother to my child and will be to my yet to be born child. I guess there are some people I enjoy "gloating" a bit to when I see them. Although I owe an awful lot of who I am to that man. He helped me choose the harder route in life, which in the end was certainly the better option.
- I drove all the way back home to get my grocery list, meanwhile K fell asleep in the car.
- I drove in the opposite direction 11 miles, dropped a pair of pants off to the seamstress, got gas in my car, and pulled into another store and K was still asleep.
- I managed to load up a cart with empties, grab my bags, and then attempt to wake my child....
- K slept through me lifting her out of the car seat, putting her in the cart, returning all the cans and bottles, a full 2 hours of grocery shopping, and finally woke up when I was in line paying. UNBELIEVABLE!
- After grocery shopping, we stopped and got a pizza :)
Thank you Friday! Thanks you Danifred for inviting me for leftovers...I brought Pizza~
