Last night into today we had our 1st snow storm (Blizzard) of 2010. We have had 2 flurry episodes over the past month, but this was the first real snow. Little K could not wait to get out into it. Unfortunately the 50+ mph winds did not make her love the experience, but she also did not hate it.
She saw the snow in the morning and said "Oh Wow Momma. Ice!" While out there, she pretty much sat and ate the snow. She had a terribly difficult time walking in it due to the depth. And the winds were still extremely high today, causing her to blow over in strong gusts.
We were also able to break out the new snow blower. It was fantastic. T had a hard time getting it started initially, but quickly realized his error and off we went pacing the driveway for about 20 mins.
All in all, a great first snow. I am very much looking forward to more this season. Next time, I am taking Little K sledding....need to add a sled to my post Christmas shopping list.

The pictures are great! E loves to go out and play in the snow too and we have to follow it up with hot cocoa and marshmallows :) Hopefully you guys can find an awesome sled!!
This storm managed to completely miss us, even though we normally get a good amount.
I love that K was excited to be out in the snow.
